Here's some more faces, both familiar and new, also set to appear in the new series.
Tommy Knight (now known as Tommy Lawrence Knight) who played Luke in the The Sarah Jane Adventures. Tommy (represented by Curtis Brown) from Kent took time out from filming SJA to complete his A levels but will now be back on our screens when the new series of Waterloo Road returns in the autumn.
22 year old Abby Mavers (represented by AllStars Casting) from Liverpool will be playing Dynasty Barry. Abby is the daughter of Liverpool actor Gary Mavers. Abby had her first screen role when she was six, appearing in ITV's Peak Practice.
Also from Liverpool is 24 year old Carl Au (represented by Diamond Management) in his first TV role. Carl trained in Musical Theatre at Arts Ed, and appeared in Jersey Boys in the West End. He plays Dynasty's brother, bad boy Barry.

In future episodes of the popular drama the Barry kids, whose mother is played by Zoe Lucker) arrive at Waterloo Road as headmaster Michael Byrne’s (played by Alec Newman) newest recruits for his pupil referral unit as they come from a hell-raising Liverpudlian criminal family. And if Waterloo Road can turn them into model students they’ll be the schools’ greatest success story but it's a shame they have anything but top grades on their minds.
The Barry family are set to make their on-screen debut next year in episodes currently being filmed on location in Waterloo Road’s new home in Greenock, Scotland.
Waterloo Road is currently filming its eighth series on location at the former Greenock Academy school building which has been transformed into the new Waterloo Road set and production base. Filming started in April this year on an initial 50 one-hour episode commission, to be filmed over two years.
